Victoria Point is in the Redlands, about 40kms south of Brisbane.

  • Vehicle barge

    Bookings are essential. The barge operates on and off the island 7 days a week, during the day.

    The barge also takes walk-on passengers. If you have gear in a 4-wheel trolley, the barge is the best option.

  • Passenger ferry

    The passenger ferry run 7 days a week, from early morning till late at night.

    Lugging a 4-wheel trolley? Catch the barge as a walk-on passenger instead.

Getting to Gindabara once you’re on Coochiemudlo Island

When you arrive on Coochie

  • By vehicle barge

    From the barge jetty on the south of the island, it’s a just a few minutes drive north to Gindabara.

    Arriving as a walk-on passenger? It’s a 10–15 minute walk to Gindabara.

  • Arriving on the ferry

    From the ferry terminal on the south of the island (near the Curlew Cafe), it’s a 10–15 minute walk north to Gindabara.

    There are no taxis or buses on Coochie.
